Summer is a wonderful time for kids to have extra fun!

Our team works hard to create enjoyable experiences for everyone with exciting crafts, activities, games, and field trips!

We are pleased to announce that 'classes' have been set up for the field trips and all children may sign up to attend, in addition to their weekly contract. Minimum number of children must be met for the field trip to happen as planned.

The trips that are available to anyone attending Be A Kid this summer include:

  • SPAM Museum in Austin: June 11, 2025

  • ZOO in Sioux Falls:  July 22, 2025

  • GOMSRUD PARK in Fairmont:  July 29, 2025

  • SIBLEY PARK in Mankato:  August 5, 2025

  • REC CENTER in New Ulm:  August 13, 2025

The other trips listed on the calendars are only open to the children who are contracted to attend on that day of the week. [LINK to printable calendars]

Here are some important things to remember regarding our trips:

- Children will be supervised at all times by additional staff members.

- Transportation will be provided on a large school bus, operated by a licensed bus driver.

 - Additional charges will apply for these trips to help cover transportation costs, driver fees, and any other related expenses. Trip costs are listed in the class details and will be charged on ProCare.

- If your child is not attending the trip on a specific day, we do not have enough staff to provide care for them, so additional childcare will not be available.

- Each trip will include detailed information, such as departure and return times, supplies children need to bring, contact numbers, and any specific items they should take with them.

- If your child has difficulty following directions or expectations during the trip, a parent may be contacted to come pick them up at the trip site.

Any questions regarding field trips, please reach out.

These field trips are a highlight of everyone’s summer!
